ACCESS is very proud to announce the very first successful defense of one of our students of the ACCESS PhD class.
On the 18th of April, Emmanuel Agyemang successfully defended his dissertation under the title “Getting a job in Ghana: Impacts of social networks on graduates’ job attainment in the Ghanaian labour market”.
Emmanuel was part of the first ACCESS – cohort of PhD – students, who started their PhD programme in 2020. Due to the Covid pandemic, especially the beginning of this journey was not as easy as one may think.
With his successful defence, he is now continuing his research about different employment issues in Africa and building his further scientific career.
