The first three days of the ACCES Summer School 2022 are over. Under the title “The Future of work: A focus on employability skills development”, all participants have so far experienced interesting presentations and insights into the approach of the several partner universities to equip graduates not only with academic skills but also with comprehensive employability skills that can help fresh graduates function in the world of work, now and in the future. By that, the changing role of lecturers was also discussed intensively.

The host of this summer school is the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. The event is accompanied by the media and gets supported by high-ranking guests from business and politics, including the German ambassador to Ghana and Ghanaian entrepreneurs and graduates of KNUST. The latter, in particular, reported on their personal approaches to dealing with the challenges of today’s and tomorrow’s working world.
